The confetti was a nice touch. And he certainly is.
Hmm. Does a beverage-inhale constitute a spit-take? I've done both and would have classified them seperately, though I can see how they'd be related.
Well, no. No actual decorum. But I seem to have thrown turpentine on the fine gloss of verbal decorum that previously existed.

*grins* Hey, it was the chain spit-take that reminded me of it! Though the "confetti" was my favorite part! Daniel is, isn't he? And as for the forum "decorum"... *looks at drgemini86's sig*Did we ever have any?

Nyx Ro wrote: Total Yayness! I love it! BTW, have you read 'The Colonel Who Couldn't Hold His...' by Dragonfly? It involves Jack, Daniel, a fertility amulet, a stiff drink... and confetti! Plus yet another iteration of a certain four-letter Anglo-Saxon word you seem very fond of! It's not just Sam and Daniel-- I think you've done permanent damage to the vocabulary of the entire forum! LOL! Well, I've read it now. If anyone else is interested, they can find it here. Spoilers below... Nice to see other people think Daniel spends quite a bit of his time translating stuff like that. It's difficult to translate, y'know. A word with so many meanings. Takes awhile, and then when he gets it, he has to say it out loud. Actually, I'm a bit miffed that we had the same punchline. Though I'm pleased that mine was just an opener. Would have sucked to write a whole thing surrounding it and find out Dragonfly had already done it. And you're right about my destruction of the forum's vocab decorum...

Alrighty then. Finished it. And more than a week early. F*ckSummary: After taking refuge in an alien shrine, Sam and Daniel are in for a surprise. It’s enough to permanently ruin their vocabulary. Note: If you disapprove of foul language, this fic is not for you.

Yay! Something to look forward too!
I shall eagerly look for it on or around my birthday.
Don't worry about my expectation level...I know what happens when motherhood strikes. I swear that most of my brain cells dissappeared overnight. I was so tired sometimes that i forgot what it was that i was doing. I think the medical profession should invent a new syndrome...early onset motherhood dementia.
Hey! That could be be a plot for a story.
As for your sequel to Remnant. Look at it this way, half way through is like half way done, so you're half way there.
Did that make any sense at all? ;_)
I like this stick poking business. Feel free to poke back if you like.

BTW I know that you have the babe and all...but are you planning on writing a sequel to Severing or Remnant? I would just like to know as i loved those stories. Okay, how about if I post it on or before September 24th? I think I can manage that. Just don't go getting your hopes up too high. Motherhood seems to have killed any writing ability I may allegedly have had. Happy early birthday, since I'll inevitably forget on the day. I'm good like that. Just ask Amaranth about my memory sometime... I'm about halfway through a sequel to Remnant. Of course, I've been halfway through it for about six months now. Sigh.

Just for the record, I had nothing to do with that second bit of pokage by Eventhorizon7. It's great though. Well done!
