Oh, boy, how could I resist something like this? :D

Sam and Daniel are offworld when a thunderstorm forces them to take refuge in a long-abandoned building. This turns out to be a "fertility shrine", and when it's struck by lightning, Sam and Daniel are overwhelmed by its, um, influence!

Now since it's a FERTILITY shrine, Sam winds up pregnant! What happens then? Bonus points if Daniel is the one who winds up cutting back his work hours to be the primary caregiver!

lol. Yeah. Didn't need to look at your username to know it was you... :D

Wow, cool idea. Not sure why they have to be long dead... the aliens could just exist in some other way, sort of like Von Neumann machines or something... or, ok, sentient microbes... or something chemical.

Hmm. 'll get back to you on that.

: )

Cute, Nyx.

Okay, I've almost completed a story for this. It's just awaiting a final edit by me (Amaranth has already tried to clean it up twice). Not my best work, but it does fulfill the challenge. Hopefully, it'll suffice.

I'll see if I can get it posted on our site in the next few days. I seem to require a publically posted deadline or I'll never finish it at all...

Hmm, Amaranth told me to get a stick and poke you. Now I see why! :D

Um, my Random Deadline Generator spits out... September 22nd!

Okay, it's not very random, but it IS a deadline!

Okay, you've been poked! Happy now?

If you make it Sept 24th it would be a nice birthday present for me ;-) Nothing like a bit of mind candy for a special day! How's that for a deadline?

BTW I know that you have the babe and all...but are you planning on writing a sequel to Severing or Remnant? I would just like to know as i loved those stories.

Just for the record, I had nothing to do with that second bit of pokage by Eventhorizon7. It's great though. Well done! ;)

Okay, how about if I post it on or before September 24th? I think I can manage that. Just don't go getting your hopes up too high. Motherhood seems to have killed any writing ability I may allegedly have had.

Happy early birthday, since I'll inevitably forget on the day. I'm good like that. Just ask Amaranth about my memory sometime...

I'm about halfway through a sequel to Remnant. Of course, I've been halfway through it for about six months now. Sigh.

Yay! Something to look forward too!

I shall eagerly look for it on or around my birthday.

Don't worry about my expectation level...I know what happens when motherhood strikes. I swear that most of my brain cells dissappeared overnight. I was so tired sometimes that i forgot what it was that i was doing. I think the medical profession should invent a new syndrome...early onset motherhood dementia.

Hey! That could be be a plot for a story.

As for your sequel to Remnant. Look at it this way, half way through is like half way done, so you're half way there.

Did that make any sense at all? ;_)

I like this stick poking business. Feel free to poke back if you like.

Alrighty then. Finished it. And more than a week early.

F*ck
Summary: After taking refuge in an alien shrine, Sam and Daniel are in for a surprise. It’s enough to permanently ruin their vocabulary.

Note: If you disapprove of foul language, this fic is not for you.

Total Yayness! I love it! :D

BTW, have you read 'The Colonel Who Couldn't Hold His...' by Dragonfly? It involves Jack, Daniel, a fertility amulet, a stiff drink... and confetti!

Plus yet another iteration of a certain four-letter Anglo-Saxon word you seem very fond of! ;) It's not just Sam and Daniel-- I think you've done permanent damage to the vocabulary of the entire forum! :)
