Planet names can be tough. After seeing our Planet Designation Generator, it was requested that we come up with a planet name generator as well. Strangely enough, it didn't take that long to do. So here it is. We've done our best to make them as pronounceable as possible, but when you do things randomly...you get the idea.

Note: Even in canon, planet designations were generated randomly. Planet names, on the other hand, are never random, therefore results from this generator should be taken with the proverbial grain of salt. In our opinion, planet names in fiction should be created based on the culture(s) that live there. It just makes sense.

Use results from this generator directly if you wish, use them for inspiration if you'd like, or use it just for fun as we will be. :)
